The laboratories of the Analytical Chemistry Center offer comprehensive analyses of materials, products and raw materials, including:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Testing of copper, concentrates, flotation products, copper ores and alloys and geological materials<\/strong> (sandstones, dolomites, copper-bearing shales), using classical methods, electrogravimetry, flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-OES.)<\/li><li><strong>Analysis of exhaust gas samples for metal content<\/strong> (As, Cd, Cr, Co, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, Sb, Tl, V, Zn) using mass spectrometry with ionization in inductively coupled plasma (ICP-MS).<\/li><li><strong>Plastics tests, focusing on determining the content of heavy metals<\/strong> (Cd, Pb, Hg) and solubilized chromium using the inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) method. The laboratory also conducts the determination of chromium (VI) using UV-VIS and ICP-OES methods.<\/li><li><strong>Chemical analyses of impurities in metals and their alloys<\/strong> using the inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) technique,<\/li><li><strong>Tests of electrical and electronic equipment<\/strong> in the scope of limiting the use of hazardous substances indicated in the RoHS directive: polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), diphenyl ethers (PBDE) and phthalates, using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry
