Thermal batteries

Łukasiewicz – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals, Poznań Branch (former CLAiO) is the only manufacturer of thermally activated reserve batteries in Poland.

Thermal batteries power the control systems of the GROM, PIORUN, BŁYSKAWICA, NAREW, PIRAT, APR-120, APR-155 and other intelligent rocket ammunition. Batteries can be a source of power for robots, specialized automatons, air targets, and space systems and modules.
