Analyzes of geological and industrial materials
We perform tests of materials:
- geological materials – rocks, ores and minerals,
- materials from pyro- and hydrometallurgical processing of ores and concentrates of non-ferrous metals,
- raw materials and products of the chemical, ceramic, glass and construction industries (e.g. ammonium perrhenate, sodium arsenate, sulfuric acid, natural and synthetic gypsum, mineral wool, limestone and others),
- coal and its pyrolysis products,
- aluminum coagulants (PAX, SAX) and iron (PIX) coagulants used in water treatment and sewage treatment technologies,
- steel wire and wire products – non-ferrous metal coatings on steel wire,
- silicon, silica dust, magnesium ferrosilicon alloy,
- plastics,
- foliar fertilizers and biostimulants,
- pharmaceutical preparations,
- dyes and pigments.
The tests include:
- rapid identification of materials of unknown chemical composition using the semi-quantitative XRF method,
- determination of trace metal contents from Li to U by semi-quantitative ICP MS method,
- determination of the content of non-metallic elements (F, Cl, Br, P, S, N, O, C),
- determination of the content of precious metals (Au, Ag, Pd, Pt, Ir, Rh), trace contents of precious metals in materials are determined using atomic spectrometry techniques after preparing samples using the fire method and using the cupellation technique for their concentration,
- determination of the content of toxic elements (Hg, As, Pb, Cd, Cu, Cr, Zn, Co, Ni, Ba, Tl),
- determination of rare earth metal content,
- determination of the content of tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold in so-called conflict minerals,
- determination of metallic aluminum and total aluminum content,
- testing the chemical composition of substances and their mixtures (REACH Regulation),
- determining the degree of purity of chemical substances (chemical reagents),
- determination of the mass of a zinc or zinc alloy coating and the mass of a copper, bronze or brass coating on a steel wire,
- determination of Zn, Cu, Pb in the coating on steel wire.
