Metallographic research
Metallographic research including preparation of metallographic sections, etching, preparation of thin foils, macro-, micro- and nanostructure research, qualitative and quantitative structure analysis, surface topography analysis, factual research.
Optical microscope studies:
- Observations in the magnification range from 5x to 2000x
- Analysis of stereological parameters of the structure
- Creating spatial images of samples with a large depth of field
- Observations in bright field (WF) and dark field (BF), phase and Nomarski differential contrast (DIC), polarized light
- Creating large-format images of microstructures
Scanning electron microscope studies:
- Observations in the magnification range from 10x to 100,000x and above
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis of chemical composition in micro-areas (point, linear, surface)
- Analysis of the morphology of conductive and non-conductive powder materials
- Observation of non-metallic inclusions in metallic materials
- Analysis of fracture surface topography (fractographic studies)
